Asthma Tracker (“App”) is published by Code With Chris (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how.
Summary
Asthma Tracker is designed to keep your health log on your device. We do not operate user accounts, cloud storage, or servers that receive your peak flow readings, symptoms, inhaler use, or other log data.
Information Stored on Your Device
When you use the App, the following is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad:
- Peak flow readings and timestamps
- Symptom entries, severity, and optional notes
- Inhaler names, dose logs, and remaining-dose counts (if enabled)
- Personal best peak flow and green/yellow/red zone thresholds
- Reminder preferences and scheduled local notification settings
- Whether you are tracking for yourself or someone else
- Onboarding and app preference state
This information is not uploaded to us and is not synced to our servers.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, receive, or store:
- Your name, email address, or phone number (unless you contact us directly)
- Your health log data described above
- Location data
- HealthKit or other health-app data (the App does not connect to Apple Health)
- Contacts, photos, or other device content
- Advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking
- Analytics or usage telemetry sent to us
Information Processed by Third Parties
Apple (App Store & In-App Purchases)
If you purchase a subscription or lifetime unlock, payment is processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may collect information according to its own policies.
Manage subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
RevenueCat (Subscription Status)
We use RevenueCat, Inc. to verify purchases and manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat may receive:
- An anonymous app user identifier generated by the App
- Purchase and subscription status (e.g., active, expired, product purchased)
- Basic device and app information needed to validate transactions
RevenueCat does not receive your health log data.

Apple Push Notification Service (Local Reminders Only)
If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These are delivered by Apple’s notification system. Notification content stays on your device and is not sent to us.
PDF Export and Sharing
The App can generate a PDF report on your device. If you share or save that PDF (e.g., via Mail, AirDrop, or Files), you choose where it goes. We do not receive copies of exported reports.
Data Retention and Deletion
- On-device data remains until you delete entries in the App, delete the App, or erase your device.
- Uninstalling the App removes locally stored log data from that device (subject to iOS backup behavior if you use iCloud Backup).
- Purchase records retained by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their respective policies.
Children’s Privacy
The App is a personal logging tool and is not directed at children under 13. If you use the App to track data for a child or another person, you are responsible for that use and for any sharing of exported reports.
If you believe we have inadvertently received personal information from a child, contact us and we will address it.
Your Rights (EEA, UK, California, and Similar Laws)
Because we do not operate accounts or collect health log data on our servers, most data-subject requests about log content are handled on your device (view, edit, delete in the App, or delete the App).
For purchase-related data held by Apple or RevenueCat, contact those providers or use their account/subscription tools.
California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell personal information.
If you contact us directly, you may request access to or deletion of correspondence we hold.
Security
We rely on Apple’s platform security for on-device storage. No method of storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for securing your device (passcode, Face ID, etc.).
International Users
The App is offered from the United States. Third-party processors (Apple, RevenueCat) may process purchase-related data in the U.S. or other countries under their policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
