This Privacy Policy describes how Code With Chris (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Scoliosis Brace Hours Tracker mobile application (“the App”).

Summary
Scoliosis Brace Hours Tracker is designed to keep your treatment data on your iPhone. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not receive or store your brace-wear logs, check-ins, or reports on our servers.
The only information transmitted off your device is what is necessary to process in-app purchases through Apple and our purchase-management provider, RevenueCat.
Information Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following information locally on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData). This data is not sent to Code With Chris:
- Treatment settings — prescribed wear hours, brace type, wear schedule, treatment start date, and related preferences
- Wear sessions — when the brace was on or off, session duration, optional reasons and notes, and whether an entry was added manually
- Daily check-ins — optional pain level, skin-issue notes, and related wellness entries you choose to record
- App preferences — reminder settings, notification preferences, and similar configuration
- Optional patient name — if you enter a name for PDF reports, it is stored only on your device and included only in exports you choose to share
You can export your session data as a CSV file or generate a PDF report from within the App. You can delete all App data at any time from Settings → Data → Delete all data.
Your App data may be included in your iPhone’s encrypted device backup (for example, via iCloud Backup or a computer backup). That backup is managed by Apple, not by Code With Chris.
Information Collected Through Third Parties
Apple (App Store & In-App Purchases)
When you purchase a subscription or lifetime unlock, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple collects payment and transaction information according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
We do not receive your payment card details.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases, verify entitlements, and restore purchases. RevenueCat may receive:
- Purchase and subscription status
- Product identifiers and transaction-related metadata
- An anonymous device or app-instance identifier used to associate purchases with your device
RevenueCat does not receive your brace-wear logs, check-in entries, prescription details, optional patient name, or other treatment data you enter in the App.
RevenueCat’s handling of this information is described in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not:
- Require you to create an account
- Collect your name, email address, or phone number through the App
- Operate servers that store your treatment or health-related entries
- Sell your personal information
- Use your treatment data for advertising
- Track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising purposes
Local Notifications
If you enable reminders, the App schedules notifications locally on your iPhone. Notification content is generated on your device and is not sent to our servers.
You can manage notification permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
Widgets and Live Activities
Widgets and Live Activities read treatment data from a shared on-device container on your iPhone so you can log sessions from the Lock Screen. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to Code With Chris.
How We Use Information
We use purchase-related information received through Apple and RevenueCat solely to:
- Deliver the features you paid for
- Verify and restore your purchase
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use your on-device treatment data for any purpose because we do not have access to it.
Data Retention
Treatment data remains on your iPhone until you delete it within the App or remove the App from your device. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective policies.
Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for use by patients and caregivers tracking scoliosis brace wear time. It does not require account registration and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through our servers.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us directly (for example, by email), please contact us at care@codewithchris.com.
Your Choices
- Delete App data: Settings → Data → Delete all data
- Stop notifications: iOS Settings → Notifications → Scoliosis Brace Hours Tracker
- Manage purchases: Use Restore Purchases in the App, or manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
- Remove the App: Deleting the App removes its local data from your device (subject to backup copies in any device backups you maintain)
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
